Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

Thursday, April 23, 2015

Ramen shop is getting more and more in klang valley. It is a trending "foodshion" nowadays.   The 1st ramen shop i visited is on Yamagoya and it was few year back.

Today yummilicious featuring Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. It located at Pavilion, 6th Floor (Tokyo Street). When I reached Tokyo Street that time, i stunned for a while, because it's too many japanese restaurant there. I have choice-hesitation issue, I can't make decision which to try, until Zerm met up with me, he asked me you prefer noodle or rice, only we got the answer.

The outlook design is simple, inside can fit 60 - 70 pax. They do display the food model in front the shop and also got award from TimeOut - FOOD 40. The variation they do served are Shio aka salt, Shoyu, Miso and Kara miso. Most of the ramen shops are serving these variety.

Our Order List
1 x Miso Char Siew Ramen
1 x Kara Miso Ramen

The have 3 different size bowl, small, medium and large. Both of us ordered medium one. Here is Zerm's Miso Char Siew ramen, which is more pork slice. Some time when the food portion be come more, you will feel too many and the food will become not nice. Zero can't finish the meat. LoLz..

Mine kara miso ramen. Served with two slices of pork, menma and leek. The broth is rich, taste ok lah, but i was disappointed because the pork slide actually tasted bit "porky" (mean got pork smell).

The ramen is a bit soft (for me) when we order the waitress didn't ask about the ramen hardness too. Most of the ramen shop do ask this question, not sure why they didn't ask.
If you ask me will you revisit, i will answer maybe no, because they not really impressed me.
